James Christmas Formal and JCRC Election Results
After a week of voting, the students of James College elected our new committee on Monday at the spectacular Christmas Formal. The biggest ever event, with 450 attendees, enjoyed a champagne reception before a delicious 4 course meal. With wine flowing freely everyone was getting very merry after a busy term. The RAG raffle was drawn by Provost Neil Lunt, and raised over £200 for charity. Former N blocker James Prescott was very happy after winning the Nintendo Wii! James Woollard and outgoing Chair Emma Bartlett then announced the election results before everyone headed to the exclusive afterparty at Revs. Whilst the 2011 committee were sad to be giving up their positions, they organised a superbly run event.
Your new committee are as follows, with Laura Watson elected as your new Chair after fighting off the brave challenge of Cameron Lane Ley and Candy (Michael Gibson).

Its that time of year again... Election Fever has hit James College!
Are you interested in running for a position on your JCRC? Have you got any new ideas that you'd like to see happening in James College? Would you like the challenge of organising an even better Freshers' Week than yours?? (Like that could happen..)
If so, then have a go at running for a position! Anyone can apply, and as much as it's a lot of responsibility it's also a great chance to make loads of new friends and give something back to your college.
